Hi there!
I am a graduate of McGill University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I came to Canada from South Asia as an international student to study at one of the world’s top universities, and I left with far more than just a degree.
During my time at McGill, I met people from more than 160 countries and learned about diversity, inclusion, and global work ethics while growing both personally and academically. My journey across continents has shaped me into someone who understands and values both Eastern and Western perspectives.
As a Canadian citizen, I have explored several countries and developed a deep understanding of study abroad and immigration pathways for students and professionals. For more than six years, I have worked in international education and immigration, helping clients make informed academic and career choices. My experience includes business immigration consulting at Ernst and Young and global education advising at The Aspirants, where I processed hundreds of university applications and scholarship offers.
Earlier, I served as a career counselor at a leading international school in Lahore, guiding students on higher education and career development. Along with consulting, my background in engineering has given me a strong foundation in project management, data systems, and technical tools.
At Hatch, one of Canada’s top engineering consultancies, I worked in the Commissioning Engineering department, where I gained hands-on experience in data analytics and visualization. I created business intelligence dashboards, supported project management systems such as Visio and SharePoint, and contributed to data-driven improvement projects. I also provide IT support, AI solutions, and team resourcing for technical operations.
Outside my professional life, I am passionate about writing. You can find my articles on Hadi Ijaz – Medium, where I share stories about culture, education, services, and personal growth. I will also be publishing new blogs on this website.
My interests include entrepreneurship and mentorship, and I am always open to collaborating on creative and meaningful ventures. I offer services in content strategy, digital marketing, project management, and academic and immigration consulting, combining creativity with technical knowledge.
